Breakfast for the Arts Performances

Cabarrus Arts Council held its annual fundraiser, Breakfast for the Arts, on Friday, May 27th. The fundraiser benefits arts in our schools and our community. The cast of Royal Oaks School of the Arts’ Lion King, Jr. and Jay M Robinson High School’s Jazz Band performed. An encore exhibit of this year's Youth Art winners also was on display for guests as they arrived. Additionally, CCS Alumnus Bryson Battle (Hickory Ridge High School Class of 2021) and winner of the prestigious national Jimmy Award for High School Musical Theatre performed at the breakfast. Hickory Ridge High School Teacher Ian Sullivan also was recognized as the Wells Fargo 2022 Inspiring Teacher Award from the Jimmy Awards.
